How it all began
It all started with our parent company, a product development company called Techlyon. We worked with the likes of ASUS, Under Armour, V-KEY to develop technological products. It was exciting and things were moving quick - before we knew it, we were creating products that were integral portions of brands. As we were working so closely with these brands, it became natural for us to create and speak the language of these organisations.
So we expanded from back-end technological creations to consulting on front-facing brand strategies, bridging the unique proposition of organisations with their audiences. AKÏN was born to help brands and organisations align their internal strategies and their interfacing with people. We thought about what it meant to create meaningful connections and make brands ‘Human’.
But how do we help organisations achieve real growth? We brought our skills of brand and technological innovations together with the philosophy of marketing. We build infrastructure and tools to facilitate interfacing brands and people, and rightfully so with the speed of today’s chatter in the digital world. We cut through the noise to build experiences that live between organisations and people - that’s the growth we’re looking for.
A custom font - the letters "A, K & N" were written by each of AKÏN's three founders. This represents how each came together with a shared vision to humanise brands, and combined their efforts and resources to build AKÏN together.
Raw, bold and completely handwritten - the logo stays dynamic and interchangeable, but with evident characteristics. It is also a visual respresentation of all the personalities on the team.
Two heads one body - the letter Ï represents two people coming together to work as one. This symbolises the importance and value of collaboration between AKÏN and our clients and partners.
